A tourist visas are issued for bona fide travelers who wish to enter Sri Lanka for a short period for the purpose of tourism, visiting friends and relatives. Generally, Tourist Visas are issued initially for three months extendable up to six months from the date of entry.

VISA CONDITION
The tourist visas are issued on strict condition that the holder DO NOT engage in any other activity paid or unpaid in the country. Please note that current visa regulations DO NOT permit changing visa categories while in Sri Lanka. It is important that visitors apply and obtain the appropriate visas to stay in the country in all circumstances.

We will immediately e-mail or fax you the copy of the EV and will inform the  Immigration authorities at the port of entry to issue your visa on arrival.
(Arrangement can also be made to send the EV to the nearest Sri Lankan Embassy for collection of  the Visa – optional)
